Air-Way Medical offers their patients multiple options for supplemental oxygen systems at home. We strive to find the right system to help our patients meet their medical needs in the most convenient way.

Home Oxygen Concentrators: These devices allow patients to receive uninterrupted continuous oxygen without the need for refills. Concentrators are more mobile than stationary liquid reservoirs or oxygen cylinders, and can be wheeled to any location within the home and within a reasonable distance outside the home.

Cylinder Oxygen Systems: This system is best for non-ambulatory patients who require a low liter flow or high liter flow for intermittent usage. There is an option of a stationary and portable gaseous system, both attach to a regulator using tubing. (MORE DETAILS)

Oxygen Conserving Devices: Conserving devices may be used along with standard cylinder systems to reduce the amount of oxygen that escapes, and to extend the usable hours of a standard cylinder setup. When used in combination with oxygen cylinders, oxygen-conserving devices can provide patients with the convenience of mobility and longer use of their supplemental oxygen.

Portable Oxygen/Concentrators: The intended us of a portable oxygen concentrator is slightly different than that of a home oxygen concentrator. A portable oxygen concentrator is typically for short-term usage outside the home in lieu of a portable oxygen tank, they are designed to be much smaller and lighter than a stationary home concentrator. A portable concentrator can be operated using solely batteries, while plugged into a wall outlet or using a DC converter while in a vehicle. All models carried at Air-Way Medical are FAA-approved for use on a plane while traveling.
